Her death was a result of a car accident that took place in Paris, France. The accident happened near Ponti De L'alma, which is a bridge over the river Seine, West of Paris. The car accident was a result of the princess being chased by the paparazzi.
Princess Diana's personal life was a subject of constant speculation. After the news of her broken marriage came out in the open, she was always hounded by the paparazzi. Princess Diana's life was considered to be in danger after she divorced Prince Charles. It is believed that the royal family was involved in conspiring her death. There are several other doubts that spark her death as mysterious. For instance, the closed circuit cameras in the tunnel where the accident place could not record the event. The ambulance that took Diana to the hospital took a longer time to reach the hospital and stopped for 5 minutes just 600 yards before the hospital. All these factors have only strengthened the doubt that there was some conspiracy behind Princess Diana's death.
Even a decade after Princess Diana's death, no one really knows whether she died a natural death in an accident or whether she was killed. Whatever the reason may be, the Princess of Wales continues to live fondly in many a hearts even today.
